Experience a quintessential Alaskan adventure, dog sledding! Glide along the snowpack of the Herbert Glacier with an experienced dog mushing guide, pulled by eager Alaskan Huskies. Take a 15-minute flightseeing tour to our summer dog camp located on the Herbert Glacier. Spend 1 hour at Dog Camp learning how this camp lives on the glacier and being pulled on a sled. While up at our Dog Sled Camp, you will get a tour of the camp, get a safety briefing on what to do, and be pulled on a sled for about 40 minutes. On the way back, you will take a 15-minute flightseeing tour. *Tour times include transportation to and from the Goldbelt Mt. RobertsTram. **Dog sled operation dates are subject to change due to glacier conditions.

About This Helicopter & Dogsledding Tour

• When booking a tour time; please allow yourself a 45-minute buffer from when your ship arrives and leaves. It is your responsibility to book times that work with your cruise ship.
• Coastal Helicopters will try our best to accommodate parties/families in the same helicopter. However, we cannot guarantee seating as it is all based on helicopter weight and balance, as well as the other parties within the flight. This will be determined at the time of check-in once everyone on the flight has weighed in. Should your family/party be split into multiple helicopters, the landing will happen together. Please also note that lap children are NOT allowed, and each passenger must purchase a full-fare ticket.
• Please report proper weights of all guests (including the weight of clothes and boots). Inputting improper weights, or selecting the wrong passenger type can lead to cancellation without refund.
• Please be aware that every guest is individually weighed at our facilities.

Our Helicopters hold 6 Standard Passengers. Groups with more than 6 Standard Passengers will be split up.
