Take a quick flight at night to look at all the Christmas lights in the Mendenhall Valley!
Coastal’s annual Christmas Light Flights Fundraiser is set for Friday, December 19th. All proceeds of this event will be donated to Cade’s Corner (#CureForCade) and the Mendenhall Flying Lions Club.
A food drive will be a part of this event as well. Please feel free to bring any non-perishable food donations!

- 10-15 minutes for check-in and safety preparation for the flight
- 5 minutes of flight time
Please Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled flight time. This allows us time to get you checked in and briefed before your flight!

Check-in will happen at the Island Air ticket counter. Please check in 10 minutes before your scheduled check-in time. Flights will be departing from the North Terminal in the Juneau Airport. You may park in the short-term parking at the JNU airport with no charge.

This year we will be doing a food drive alongside these Light Flights. Bring any food you would like to donate to the Southeast Alaska Food Bank!

- Please know that refunds will only be processed if we are unable to fly due to weather. No refund will be processed for missing your flight.
- There are no bags allowed in the aircraft, please leave them in your vehicle.
- No smoking or vaping.
- Absolutely no flash photography (both on your way to the helicopter and inside the helicopter).

Refund Policy
Refunds will only be processed due to poor weather. We will not delay or hold any flights for late check-ins. If you do not check in by your assigned time and miss your flight, there will be no reschedules or refunds. So, it is important you are punctual for your flight, this will help keep us on schedule.
